The Batman Saga

Batman has been my favorite superhero since childhood. Not because he is the best martial Artist, not because of his gadgets, not because of his suit or looks, but because he is a normal human being and he has shown that even without his suit and gadgets he can be the dreaded "Batman".

But is that all? He is called the Dark Knight because of a reason. One reason is he uses darkness as his Ally, is his weapon. Another reason is that he is a saviour but he is not the one people look upon. He is the one people hate, still he is the Knight saving them. But the biggest reason to call him Dark Knight. His existence is built on Vengeance.

If you see his enemies they are also the ones who seek revenge, so not much difference there. If you see his biggest enemy "The Joker", is one who is unpredictable and erratic. But what does he want? He also wants revenge. May be that's the reason I feel Joker and Batman are the two faces of the same coin. Both seek revenge but the way is different.

Then again Batman rises above his enemies because of some attributes. He is the fallen samurai, a Ronin who still holds his territory. Gotham is his territory. Anyone who calls for havoc in Gotham has to face the wrath of the Samurai, The Dark Knight
